What is our App?

Why

To bring the community together. You can compete with your friends to complete tasks! The motivation is endless!

Purpose

To complete tasks and break bad habits. By using our app, you set your desired goals and attempt to conquer your goals!

Reason

Make a better version of you! By completing tasks, you are already making a better version of you!

Inspiration

Our inspiration came from the Fitbit app. In the FitBit app, there is a leaderboard section that ranks everyone based on their steps. This leaderboard encourages competition and therefore more people start to walk.

Functionality

The way our app works stems from the mindset that an indiviual is more likely to complete their goals if their friends and community are also in on the goal!

Firebase

Firebase is a free realtime database provided by Google. We used Firebase to store our user's data and information about the goals. It was integral to our backend.

What does the app offer?

Users can enter their tasks that they want to complete
All the goals that the user has created will be presented in the home view
The app is very user friendly! It is very easy to create tasks
You can compete with your friends to complete the most number of tasks!
As the user makes a task, the user is given 5 points, which is shown in their profile
All the data is stored using Firebase, that way users can log in without making a new account!
Users can set their location, target, desired score, as well as a description, to motivate themselves to complete the goal!
